Fang Jidao seemed always to be with his books. When Pei Ye pushed open the door of his humble abode, he saw him sitting upright at the desk, reciting some article in a low voice. Even when alone, his attire was meticulous to the last detail.
Pei Ye's sudden visit took him by surprise. Closing the book, he rose and greeted with a polite bow, "Why does Mr. Pei grace this unworthy place with a visit?"
Pei Ye, who never bothered with such proper etiquette, waved his hand nonchalantly and walked over to lean against the desk, "How goes the preparation for the admission test?"
Fang Jidao sat back down and shook his head with a smile, "It troubles Young Hero to worry... I have been diligently studying day and night, so there isn't much to prepare."
"Such a statement sounds rather arrogant. It doesn't quite sound like the Brother Fang I know," Pei Ye laughed.
"To be mocked every few sentences, now that's the Young Hero I know," Fang Jidao also laughed.
