As the sunset neared the mountain peak, on the Misty Cliff in the Ice Wind Forest, the clouds in the sky unexpectedly split open. A pillar of light signifying the presence of an Immortal once again burst forth from the opening in the clouds.
An aura of enormous pressure, stronger than all previous Immortals' descent, gradually descended from the pillar.
The numerous agents left from the various factions within dozens of miles felt their breath constrict under that oppressive aura. Their hearts felt as though they were filled with lead.
However, as the light pillar gradually faded and the figure descended, the overpowering pressure subsided like a receding tide and the storm passed.
All the agents breathed a sigh of relief, and then swiftly dispersed.
This time, they did not approach Misty Cliff. Instead, they rushed to relay the news of the arrival of an even stronger Immortal back to their factions.
