Just as he reached the sky.
Lu Wufei looked back to see a blue light, far behind in the sky, rapidly approaching him.
"I don't have time!"
In a state of desperation, Lu Wufei mentally chanted a mantra. Following that, he leapt forward, turning into a golden light, heading towards the horizon, intending to escape.
"Where do you think you're going, Little Demon!"
Suddenly, a thunderous shout came from behind.
Immediately after that, he saw a blue light behind him transforming into a giant ape which, leaping up, started chasing the fleeing golden light in the distance.
The massive monkey demon obscured the sky.
Lu Wufei had nowhere to hide and directly collided with it.
"Bang..."
It was as if he had run into an enormous wall.
The collision immediately left Lu Wufei dazed and sore. His Vertical Ground Gold Light was shattered, and his body quickly fell towards the ground.
