"What's that sound...?"
The Crow Demon, with the sharpest hearing, was raising his wine bowl but paused to speak at the sound.
"It seems to come from that corner!"
The Yellow Weasel Demon beside the Crow Demon immediately turned and pointed to a corner of the room.
The other demons who were feasting all turned their heads towards the corner that Yellow Weasel Demon had indicated.
All the demons in the cave were quite powerful, and they could clearly hear that the sound was very real.
"Squeak squeak squeak..."
The strange noise sounded again.
This time, the quickest to react was the Female Tiger Demon. Upon hearing the sound, her eyes lit up instantly and she pounced towards the corner.
