As Monk Jiudeng and Huaibi debated, atop Jiugong Mountain, a multitude of demon cultivators hovered two thousand feet above the ground, casting spells amidst the clouds.
For nearly two hours, Master Shenchen followed Li Xuan's instructions, guiding everyone to scatter countless ice nuclei in all directions, covering an area as large as fifteen hundred miles. Even distant locations like Jingzhou, a thousand miles away, and Zhijiang, fifteen hundred miles away, were reached by the ice nuclei.
They first created the ice cores and then transported them to locations a thousand and five hundred miles away, wrapped in Mana.
Master Shenchen realized that they were far from being the only ones. Numerous Buddhist and Daoist sanctuaries, including Jun Mountain of Dongting Lake, Heng Mountain of the South, Qingcheng in Sichuan, and Emei, also had monks and taoists spreading ice cores in a mass scale amongst the clouds.
