Whenever a spirit of a famous mountain or great river was born, the Heavenly Court would issue a decree to canonize it as a Canonical God, thereby integrating these sentient spirits into the Incense Offering Divinity Path system.
Incense Offering Deities of the ranks of God Honor and Divine Monarch also needed to be canonized by the Heavenly Court Decree to ascend to their divine positions.
However, since the Great Schism thousands of years ago, the connection between the Upper World and the Primal Chaos Realm has been severed, and the Heavenly Court Decree has completely disappeared.
