The mutual probing with the powerful departments from Another World had not taken up much of Murphy's time and energy.
It wasn't even among the top five concerns he was currently worried about.
It wasn't that Murphy truly didn't care, but rather that he was not yet able to exert more influence over Another World, and could only try to maintain his own sense of mystery to make the opponent hesitate. However, considering that the "disconnect" authority had always been in Murphy's hands, this sort of "deterrence" was not entirely a bluff.
As long as the right to enter Another World was in his hands, the initiative for this "Close Encounter of the Third Kind" would not shift to the other party, and Murphy felt he had no cause for concern as he sat fishing on his own.
Even if he considered the worst-case scenario, it was nothing more than starting over with a different country and a new group of minor players.
