Handling Cui Si was just an offhand affair for Murphy; as long as he understood the "fallen" lifestyle that the Blood Vulture Duke was currently enjoying, he could easily coax her into doing things she was too lazy to do herself.
This is commonly known as improving "subjective initiative".
However, Cui Si was also a particularly stubborn individual.
If she didn't want to do something, then no matter how much Murphy urged or pressured her, she wouldn't lift a finger, a unique habit formed from years of a do-nothing lifestyle. At present, Murphy's allure was not enough to make the Scarlet Witch change herself more for him.
Fortunately, Cui Si's current interest in the little players wasn't any less than in Murphy, so she was quite willing to offer these brave souls whatever help she could reasonably manage.
And incidentally, snag a little "benefit" for herself in the process.
