This thing is a property of the Avalon Church.
Even as the White Knight and a saint of the church, one does not have the privilege to present it to one's own daughter. But given the current state of the old church's collapse, there aren't any Grey Knights who are responsible for order in the church coming to ask Natalie for the sacred object.
The temperamental Saint Blade would curse and stomp in Old Feinock's hand, yet laying quietly, like a dead object, in Natalie's embrace.
This is obviously because Natalie has not gained the approval of the Saint Blade and has not established any psychic connection. After all, she's not an old knight who maintains a connection to divine spirits even after the Avalon God abandoned human believers.
Natalie is in a state of hopelessness and complete surrender now.
She knows what she should do and understands her duties, but she just can't muster the spirit or any motivation to act again.
