Just like how they savored their "food", it seemed like there lurked in the depth of the corridor a creature that feasted on the fresh blood of vampires.
"Boom"
Murphy's colossal and robust blood wings spread out like a shield, blocking the attack of the four blood claws that were lashing out at him. The wings then swatted outwards, throwing back his assailant, before grabbing and pulling back one of them by its leg in the grasp of "Death's Grasp".
"Splat"
The Dark Step glided forward, the green oily blade piercing the heart of a fellow clansman.
The Blade of Death showed no mercy, as if the figure before it was not a brethren but a sworn enemy.
As Murphy pulled out his blade, the crazed vampire squirmed on the ground and screamed as if he was thrown into a heap of fire. Blue-green flames of purification sprung from his wounds, causing him to convulse and retract in pain only to be suppressed by Murphy's indifferent expression and his pressing blade.
