Murphy could only marvel at how his little players could always manage to come up with new challenges for him.
Just now, he received a report from soldiers under Maxim, a group of vampire "beggars" who crawled out from the major rift, discovered by Lumina and Sister Pomegranate. They are now under control.
Upon receiving the news, Murphy and Cui Si immediately rushed to the place where these vampires were situated.
On the way, Cui Si was constantly "self-criticizing":
"I was just bluffing. I was just trying to stir Phemys, I didn't expect it to actually happen... But that's not right. Given the dense spiritual energy from the star realm in the inner city, even if they weren't sucked into the star realm, they couldn't possibly have survived for as long as seven days! Something's not right, Murphy."
Murphy looked helpless in her face.
