A few seasoned hunters on the outskirts of the bonfire silently stood up. With the sound of horses' hooves striking the ground, they quickly disappeared from Major Fraser's gaze.
This was not the first time the Major had entered the area of Transylvania, nor was it his first time fighting alongside the witch hunters, but indeed it was the first time he came to understand the things witch hunters deal with on a daily basis.
On this continent, there always seems to be a "gap" protecting ordinary soldiers like the Major from the truly extraordinary powers.
This "gap" used to be known as the Avalon Church, now called the "Circle Tower."
