Lady Adel was stopped outside the tent by Bonnie, the "personal guard" enlisted by Cui Si, and was not allowed to approach until Morphy and Phemys stepped out of the tent.
"Protect Cui Si at all costs!"
Morphy said to the female vampire before him who, though acting insane, appeared extremely loyal and reliable yet untidy with her hair all over the place.
The latter, with her blood-red eyes filled with hostility glanced at Morphy and twitched her prominent nose, as if smelling a similar scent from both Morphy and Lady Cui Si, she thumped her chest with her hand.
In the tremble and totter of her elevated breasts, she muttered,
"I will not fail in my duty!"
"Very well, I am leaving this place to you."
Morphy nodded, winked at Lady Adel, and the three vampires turned and left.
