This is my nth reflection on a new release, and there's just 2 minutes left till this book is launched. Honestly, I'm panicking.
The panic isn't only from trying a new genre for the first time, but more from a certain kind of "fear" towards original work. After all, my loyal readers know all too well, my previous two original works flopped miserably.
Old Lu thought my writing career would stay forever in the fan fiction realm with no further surprises. Thinking deeper, that might not be a bad thing. After all, being in my comfort zone might make some call me unambitious, yet without worries, what's the difference between that and a carefree life?
However, circumstances are ever-changing, just like how fate won't let everyone's life be smooth. Ups and downs are necessary; they infuse timid souls with forced courage.
