Typically, those from Nine Heavens would stick with Nine Heavens, and those from Ten Earth Sects with Ten Earth Sects. Seldom would a bigwig from Nine Heavens chose to sit with top-level personnel of Ten Earth Sects, and vice versa. This could inadvertantly give-off an impression of toadying.
Among the Ten Earth Sects, Taotie City's Castellan Huyan Dong, Thunder Fortress's Castellan Huang Hanshan, and Four Seas Whale Guild Master Xu Baishan were sitting together.
This trio was intriguing.
