As the darkness fell.
Li Family Village fell into silence, except for occasional barks of dogs and chirping of birds from the mountain woods. Some rooms in the village still had their candles lit. Because of a recent monster scare, many were afraid to sleep with the lights off.
Several security teams were patrolling around the village. Although the village had hired some martial artists to keep the peace, they didn't account for much of the force. The bulk of the security consisted of regular strong men. As the night wind cooled down, unease crept in.
"Fourth Bro, Fourth Bro!" a guard whispered, "Come with me, I need to pee."
"Why don't you go on your own?" the one called "Fourth Bro" was fairly reluctant.
"I am scared to go alone. Come with me, please," pleaded the guard.
"Alright, alright," groaning, Fourth Bro told the others to wait and went with him.
