Glug, glug.
Red oil bubbles in the small bronze pot and steam rises, filling the entire cave with a delicious aroma.
A woman with her hair lightly tied up sits beside the pot with a large bowl, heartily slurping noodles. Suddenly, a silver streak of lightning darts into the cave from outside, causing the woman to look up in surprise.
Shock.
This is the scene Chu Liang sees when he enters.
The cave, while not large, is hidden behind a waterfall and reasonably dry. Luminous gems embedded in the walls light the cave, and several air vents make it well-ventilated and bright.
The cave's interior is simple, with a table on one side bearing a bronze furnace, a small pot of wine, and a few glasses—quite cozy. Beside the table is a white stone bed, topped with soft cushions.
