After fading in and out for an extended period, Ji Nuan could feel her life slowly ebbing away until it was no more. She could hear the doctors and nurses sighing, and even the muffled thanks from the relatives of those who had received her organs!

She was an orphan abandoned by her parents. Yes, abandoned, due to her severe congenital heart disease.

Growning up in the orphanage until 15, she bid farewell to her foster mother, the caretaker, and the only thing she took away with her was the name Ji Nuan. Her foster mother told her, no matter how difficult life became, she should always look towards the sunshine, and maintain warmth in her heart.

Being young, Ji Nuan could only find work washing dishes or serving at restaurants, and then slowly educated herself until she found a more relaxed clerical job, until her heart disease landed her in the hospital.

She had lost count of all the jobs she had done. Lying on the hospital bed, she could feel her life slipping away until the doctor told her that her worn-out heart couldn't beat much longer.

She was calm; she had known about her condition since the beginning, which is why she lived a carefree life, working, saving money, learning, traveling. Although she hadn't seen the whole world, she was already very satisfied.

She was only 28 years old, and her other organs were healthy. They should be given to people in need.

If there was a next life, she wished to have a healthy body.

...

"Shaman, how is Shan Zaizai doing? Can she still survive?"

Just as Ji Nuan had regained consciousness, she heard some strange noises that seemed like random shouts or howls. But miraculously, she understood them.

What is happening? Had she reincarnated? She wanted to open her eyes, but found her body completely unresponsive. The only thing she could do was listen to the sounds around her.

An old voice rang in her ear: "Aye... Shan Zaizai has a high fever. I've given her the medicinal broth. Whether she wakes up depends on the Beast God's blessing."

There was a hint of concern in the old voice.

Shan Zaizai!!!

Could that be her name? Was she named something so easy to raise, like those village names like Second Egg or Dog Leftovers.

She's a girl, with this thundering name, won't it be hard to find a partner later on?

It seemed that the parents of her current life are pretty bold. Had she reincarnated directly into another world?

"All right, everyone can go back and rest. Shan Zaizai will stay here with me. I will let Bai Xian go with you to collect her belongings."

The old voice sounded a little melancholy when he talked about packing things. Of course, Ji Nuan, who was still pondering her rebirth, didn't notice.

After the woman left, Shaman sighed and touched her thin and dry hair, saying: "Poor cub."

Ji Nuan was confused. What's happening? It seemed her current body was in a bad state!

But the current her couldn't even control this body. After struggling for a while, she felt a deep sense of fatigue. Ji Nuan finally fell into a deep sleep.

Unbeknown to her, her soul had begun to slowly merge with this one.

By the time Ji Nuan regained consciousness again, it was already two days later.

Even then, Ji Nuan kept her eyes shut, receiving memories that did not belong to her. From these memories, she began to understand her current situation.

She couldn't help but feel a bit jubilant inwardly.
