Keira nodded. "Okay."
After she got out of bed and opened the bedroom door, she saw Amy pacing back and forth outside. The nanny asked, "Miss Amy, shall we go out and play? Your mom is sleeping, and Mr. Horton said not to disturb her."
Amy, with her hands behind her back, looked obedient. She spoke in a sweet voice, "Shh, be quiet, don't wake Mummy."
Keira's heart melted at the sight.
She immediately squatted down to pick Amy up.
Feeling the embrace, Amy immediately stretched out her little hands and wrapped them around Keira's neck. "Mummy, you're awake! I missed you so much!"
Keira couldn't help but laugh. "Didn't we see each other last night?"
When she returned to the Olsen family last night, she found out the nanny and Amy hadn't gone to bed. The nanny said, "Miss Amy insisted on waiting for you to come home before she would go to bed."
