The classmate was taken aback when she saw the situation in the ward.
Then she stopped in her tracks, staring in disbelief at the scene before her. Her gaze swept over Lady Gill, Austin, and the others before finally landing on Nara, who was kneeling on the ground. She asked with confusion, "Nara, what's going on?"
Nara shook her head, then reached out with her uninjured hand.
Hesitant, the classmate took out Nara's phone. She looked at Nara as if she had seen the plague, tossed the phone into Nara's hand, and ran off. Soon after, another classmate's voice came from outside. "What happened? You look so shaken..."
"Shhh, it seems like Nara has offended some big shot..."
Then, there was no more sound from outside, only the footsteps of those classmates sneaking away.
Nara gave a bitter smile.
She knew that after today, her classmates would surely avoid her like the plague.
She lowered her gaze.
