Keira slightly halted as she frowned and peered into the room.
She caught sight of Nara, whose hands were covered in blood, which was also smeared on the apple peel she was holding. Nara's fingers trembled as she stared at the cut on her hand.
Keira's pupils contracted, and she immediately rushed in. "Nara, are you alright?"
Nara looked at Keira with tearful eyes before fixating on her trembling hand.
On her wrist was a gash from which blood was whooshing out, rendering her hand strengthless!
Keira immediately asked, "What happened?"
Nara gestured with her hand, trying to speak, but unfortunately, no one in the room understood her sign language. She wanted to write, but the right hand she used to write was cut, and she couldn't muster any strength.
Her eyes were rimmed red.
She was supposed to become a doctor; if she no longer had strength in her hand, how would she hold a scalpel?!
