The sunshine in the yard was just right.
In the midday hours, Keira observed Old Mrs. Horton's yard from a distance, unsure of what Lewis was planning.
Upon hearing her question, Lewis smiled. "Of course, I'm at ease."
Keira was taken aback.
Lewis then lowered his gaze. "Selena is so concerned about Great-grandma's illness because of her shares, so she'll definitely see to it that Great-grandma lives!"
Keira had a moment of realization upon hearing this.
Oliver had just said that old Mrs. Horton had made a will before, stating that if she were to pass away, her shares would be transferred to Lewis. Therefore, before old Mrs. Horton changed her will, the first branch of the family would for sure want the old lady to live on!
No wonder Lewis was so confident in them.
Keira sighed lightly. She had thought that Nathan, Oliver, and Selena really cared about the old lady, but, in the end, everything was still driven by self-interest.
