The car slowly came to a halt in front of Jiang Yuzhu's house.
Jiang Yuzhu opened the car door, prepared to get out and, turning to Chen Ting, said, "Thank you so much for tonight, I had a great time."
Chen Ting smiled in response, "You're welcome, Yuzhu. It's what I should do."
Jiang Yuzhu nodded, once she got out of the car and stood in front of her house, she took a deep breath of fresh night air.
She waved good-bye to Chen Ting, then walked into the house.
Once inside, Jiang Yuzhu sat on the living room sofa, quietly contemplating over the upcoming conversation with Pei Jingchuan.
That evening, Pei Jingchuan ended his busy day of work, and drove home.
The house was softly lit, radiating a warm ambience.
The hallway light cast a long shadow of him, elongating his stride.
