Jiang Yuzhu smiled at his words, "People have to change, don't they?"
"Besides, no one remains stagnant forever."
"True." Pei Jingchuan held Jiang Yuzhu's hand, "My girl has grown up."
Over the past year, Pei Jingchuan had witnessed Jiang Yuzhu's growth; he knew she was slowly changing.
When they reached their home, they opened the door and went in. Chen's mom, who was sitting on the sofa, brought out their slippers and put them down in front of them.
"Thank you," Jiang Yuzhu said softly.
"Mom Chen, please make two cups of hot milk for us," Pei Jingchuan said, putting on his slippers and walking towards the sofa.
Jiang Yuzhu followed behind him and went to the sofa too.
After they sat down, she bent over and pulled out a medical book from the drawer under the coffee table and began to flip through it.
"How was your day at the hospital?" Pei Jingchuan raised an eyebrow and asked softly.
