Rosalia, The blood Frienzied Knight...The title was as not nearly as famous as The Lion King but compared to the Title of Boogeyman man, it could as well be on par.
Yusuf looked at this woman with unease, why had she decided to come to the youngest master? It made no sense...
Her title was earned in its own right by Rosalia, whom had been sent off to battle against some races that were against the humans, like the elves and dwarves as well as monsters like the orcs, trolls, goblins and even higher ranked ones...However, she fought against the Elves.
Capable of using nature magic, the elves being in tune with nature were able to syphon energies from it and use it to either nurture or destroy their enemies to protect such nature.
Having hated humans for destroying their forests and kidnapping their people, the Elves waged war against the kingdom. Rosalia being a young Knight was called to be sent to the front lines, her bloodline not yet awakened as she was still without blood on her hands...However the moment she slew her first elf, everything changed.
The feeling of blood washing over her, the exquisite texture and warmth was something she had never felt before and it didn't feel bad, no, she never felt bad for slaying anyone after that, she didn't even think about the person she killed, the blood was all there was to think about..
More power...More warmth...More Blood.
She swung her sword back then, a normal one which broke under the force of her strikes, until she used her bare hands to rip the elves apart...under the drunkeness of the feeling of blood, she could not tell friend from foe...
Alas, because of her large contribution, it was decided against that she be put down, instead, she was captured and had her mind cleansed by a holy priest...removing the temptation and satisfaction from her mind.
By then the number of humans she had killed in the guise of slaying elves, were so much that the title could have been anything worse than they had given her...Yet the battle was something that the survivors could attest to being a work of art, although a gory one.
That Rosalia disappeared from then on, rumors had it that she exterminated monsters and drank on their blood to satisfy the urges she felt for human blood...many others said that she still went in search of human blood by taking care of criminals and illegally affiliated humans...taking their blood as compensation.
And yet, she stood here in front of Yusuf. No, in front of Gates, whom just stood there looking at her in silence, she too watched him without moving back this time...
It was the first time someone walked to her knowing who she was, she fully expected him to turn her down...it was a risk having someone like her around.
"Will you kneel?" Gates said finally to her, looking her in her eyes... If even she rejected, he knew there was nothing he could do to her...even when he could...he wouldn't.
"Youngest master, she—"
Yusuf wanted to raise his opinion about Gates words when Rosalia knelt, not on a knee but on both knees...Now the same height with Gates as he found it easier to look into her blood red eyes.
"I guess we've got that in common too huh" Gates said, something odd as well as even this time, Rosalia tilted her head a bit, showing a hint of confusion at his words.
"Of course I mean, red hair, red eyes..." He pointed at her hair and eyes while looking into them before pointing to himself
"Black hair, black eyes..."
Yusuf was dumbstruck by such a comparison, was that a way of flirting now? Wait, should he even be flirting?
However Rosalia formed a smile on her lips, finally understanding what he meant...
Reaching his hand to her head as he brushed them with his fingers, looking at the hair envelop his hands, a smile formed on his lips as well...but this time it wasn't one of malevolence, deceit or even a mocking smile, it was one of gentility as he looked at the way the hair seamless flowed.
It's not everyday you get to meet your favourite character nor is it even more common for them to need you as much as you need them. Rosalia stared into Gates eyes, it was the first time anyone looked at her that way...it wasn't because of her beauty, she could tell, he wasn't even looking at her face...but her.
"It's been tough on you...Ahem!" Gates said as she pulled away, realising just how much he had been close to her...however looking at her once more, he felt he saw a look of disappointment in her eyes...pain perhaps??
"Hey, do you really want to become my guardian Knight? You could really do anything else, really...." Gates said as he tried to dissuade her, his goals were to obviously get strong enough to kill that fucking protagonist and survive the future events of this world but he never expected to meet her...not even in his wildest dreams.
"Yes, I don't even mind being your slave..." She said as she hung her head low even as she knelt on her knees. In this novel, slaves were very much legal, that was why the elves hated humans so much more than humans destroying their forests.
Rosalia wasn't dumb, she knew that if she wanted she could get better conditions than that of Yusuf but she knew that her ability was a curse to those around her...She had stayed alone because of that, however when she heard that the weak youngest master of the Gates family needed a Guardian Knight, she thought that even if she was cursed, he would accept her because of her strength...
However, now that she saw him and saw the way he looked at her, she knew there was no bad intentions towards her...even more, it felt as though he knew her better than she knew herself...She had never been wrong about anything relating to her instinct before.
