It had long since been the moment the orcs went silent, beyond their expectations the mage coward did not lose the fight but instead won, although using magic but respected the orc well enough to fight and kill with his hands and the weapon of the orc.
"Is this all?" Yusuf taunted...
The surrounding orcs growled but none moved an inch from where they stood, not because they were unwilling but because it was a ritual, honored by all orcs regardless of where they come from. A duel can result in death, it was not shunned and as well did not include the mass but just one.
Kar'zah was their third, anyone coming in to the duel would be fighting a pointless battle, one that did not hold honor amongst the orcs, unless they won.
"I, will fight." A low voice came from behind a couple of the massive hulking figures, whom moved aside to show the brave orc that wished to partake in the ritual.
"Sar'har!" The orcs bellowed, each dropping down to a knee as they saw the second walk through.
"Stand" She said, Sar'har was a female orc, one that was a rarity in the orc race, a race made for war.
And yet, Yusuf knew that this female orc named Sar'har was the one that the Young Gates had warned him about...Looking around him once more, he knew that the kids advise would prove difficult with the respect that the orcs had shown this orc.
Walking towards the dead body of her kin, she picked up his axe which weighed so much that Yusuf needed the muscle strengthening and agility spell to make sure that he even carried it nearly the same as he would a sword if he had one.
"Greeting Ghost, I am the Warrior, Sar'har. " She said as she stopped in front of Yusuf, he felt it clearer, the natural flow of mana through her...It was phenomenal.
'Now I really have to know where the kid gets his information' Yusuf thought as he gave a nod to her.
"Are you willing to die in this duel, Sar'har?" Yusuf asked, genuinely as he wondered if he would be able to keep himself from killing her before the kid showed up.
Unlike himself, the orcs were truly out for blood, battle and the honor of their ritual... If she tried to kill him sincerely and he held out, it would be the death of him.
Remembering the Young Gates words, he would follow it, beating the magic Warrior to the point of near death.
"What are you staring at?" A voice cut through his thoughts as he saw a red flash by the corner of his eyes, ducking his head and then pushing away from the figure in front of him, Yusuf saw the magic Warrior standing on the spot at which he once stood.
The heat from the Axe still fresh upon him, Yusuf prepared himself for combat against this orc...He could not die here.
"Much better, Mage." Sar'har said as she lunged at him once more with the axe in hand,
Yusuf put up a shield which collided with the axe, as visible cracks appeared on the shield. She used her other hand and threw a punch at the cracks breaking through the magic shield against Yusuf's expectations.
Jumping into the air as high as he could, Yusuf chanted the flight spell as he levitated from the point after his jump. Looking down at the orc Warrior, he couldn't let his guard down all the while cursing Gates in his mind and wondering how this orc was weaker than he was.
"I know mages are cowards, do I assume you give up the duel?" Sar'har said as he pointed up towards Yusuf...
"No, However remember that indeed I am a mage, not a Warrior. I cannot fight you as a warrior but as a mage." Yusuf said as he casted another spell "earth spikes" on the ground which the orc Warrior stood upon.
Seeing the ground shaking as spikes erupted from it, Sar'har jumped backwards and dodged the quickly emerging spikes rising from the ground, using the axe she cuts the tip of one of the earth spikes throws it up in the air and uses the side of the axe to propel it with enough force towards Yusuf.
If he wouldn't come down to battle with her, she would make him.
Running around the field of spikes made from the earth, a swing of her axe was all it took to cut it in half and propel them towards Yusuf, seeing her tactic, he cursed, seems the magic awakened her intelligence too.
With the limited space of the field on which they could fight, he couldn't fly any more past that field or he would lose the fight...Yusuf decided to just throw in his all.
"Muscle strengthening, agility, summon fire sword" Yusuf multi-casted, as he came down to the ground, brandishing the fire sword he held in his right hand.
Sar'har saw the change in the Mages composure and prepared herself as she walked towards him, Yusuf took his stance and took a mental note not to waste any more mana, he had finished testing her, it was now time to act and win this thing..
...What the orcs did not know but Gates knew was that Yusuf trained and never missed a training in physical and sword fighting, he was a Knight, a Knight by day and an assassin mage by night, all so he could get enough finances and materials needed to cure his sister. He could not afford to lose this fight nor could he be killed in this fight.
He had to finish this fight before day break, or else his disappearance and lateness will be suspicious... Taking in a deep breathe.
"Let us fight to our hearts content, Mage" Sar'har said with a maniac smile on her face
"I won't disappoint, Orc." Yusuf said with eyes filled with determination
