Chapter 26 - TWENTY-SIX...

Theordore looked at Amon as he said those words,

"However, I know of how you yourself were raised, so I have no I'll will towards you but do not ask me to understand nor accept you. Only time can tell with such requests, of course not that you would care about such things." Gates said, concluding his words...

Waving his hands, Theodore did not feel in the mood to speak in the subject again, fearing he may rip his child apart if not the promise of his mother coming to mind.

"So what is it you want to tell me about the knight that requires my discretion..." Theodore said, as he looked at Gates, whom knew if his next words were another load of bullshit, even he wouldn't guarantee walking out of this room without a deformity.

"The second knight has been contracted with me as well, but it is more of a slave contract than the norm...because of its special case...Their background has been more of a military experience and hunting/killing, and they're ostracised by the general public because of a well-known feat they accomplished a while ago.. earning some nasty rumors, that's why the helmet...

She is Rosalia, The Blood Fiend Knight."

Gates said concluding his overview of her to which Theodore nodded his head before realising whom his son had invited to their family...

"Are you truly insane or just gone stupid with fear?" He asked, standing from his chair.

"I think I would be more insane than this later on, if it were fear, I wouldn't even be able to walk into your study." Gates said, watching Theodore walk towards him.

"And you can now, why?" Thodore questioned, the pressure in the room getting heavier and heavier until Gates started to feel it I'm his bones.

"Heh, be cause despite everything, you're a suckered for your children...Only when they've proven themselves, when they do not...they're cast aside. That of course is the tradition of the Barbarians, is it not?" Gates said forming a smile as he tried to withstand the pressure...He was as strong or maybe even stronger than a Mid ranked Knight but its counterpart, the mage, he would be useless, he held no magical skill nor strength.

Hearing his answer, Theodore came to a halt, in his years of living not a single soul had spoken to him in such a manner...this rebellious, free-spirited and confident character his son, Amon showcased was different from the one of his first son who was cunning, a disgrace to the Barbarians and pride to humans...or his second son, who valued only strength, a pride to the Barbarians and something only a human stronger can comment on.

" I see...so where is she now?"

"My room still, I intend for her to stay with me for the night and take another of Anne's room. She's got quite the lot if I do say so myself. " Gates answered, using the time to inform his father just in case another fight broke out.

Having answered his questions, Theodore sent Gates out as he sat back on his seat, a book came from the shelf, floating down slowly as it landed on his table...opening on its own, the bookstores on a page with a single picture...

On the picture beheld a woman with Red hair, red eyes and a smile that could shake the very heavens...

Looking into the picture, he frowned harder. Her loss meant a great deed to him,

"Sephora...They've all grown up."

...

Meanwhile, Gates headed back to his room. Entering inside he saw a woman whom stood at a tall height, her armour was removed now and she wore a leather pant that clung to her legs, bandages that wrapped around her chest to mid torso and red hair that flowed seamlessly like a river bed without any obstacle.

Seeing her eyes land on him, a small smile appeared on her face.. almost making Gates heart stop. No amount of fan art could compare to the real thing...

Closing the door behind him, he walked to the balcony where she stood, significantly shorter than her he wondered if she was even human with such a height for a woman.

"Seems you're much comfortable now..." Gates said, resting his head on the rails as he looked towards the fading sun.

"Mm..." She replied, he didn't really need words as long as she used her actions to prove.

As they stood there watching the sunset, a knock was heard from the door,

"Enter" Gates said as he turned to look at whom walked in,

Yusuf followed in by a much smaller girl, however a familiar face, walked into his room, the look on her face was one of amazement on how large the room was and luxurious...

Gates smiled, the room they would stay in, being his sisters was much more luxurious than this and the one that he would give to Rosalia was on the same level if not more.

"Amon!" The girl said as he walked past her brother and went to Gates, giving him a fist bump that he had taught her previously while waiting for Yusuf to arrive.

Turning to look at the large woman compared to them, Laura gave a deep bow to Rosalia whom almost seemed flustered..

"Hi my name is Laura, Nice to meet you Rosalia...I don't believe any of the rumors they say about you....they always say bad things when women are stronger than men." Laura said, making both Yusuf and Gates look away in awkwardness...

Rosalia however seemed to like it as she patted Laura on the head, it seemed being out of human connections alot had caused her not being able to converse properly..

Feeling her hand on her head, Laura felt an inexplicable feeling when she hugged Rosalia...whom looked at Gates as though she had done him wrong.

Shaking his head to dissuade any notion, Gates didn't find it odd, if not for the rumors surrounding her, Rosalia would honestly be hands down the most attractive woman in the city and strongest wouldn't be a stretch either.

Either way, Gates had the solution for her problem, it's only a matter of time.

"Okay come Laura, let's get you to the room." Yusuf said, still being a bit wary of Rosalia but doing well not to show it.

Leaving with him, Gates was left alone once more with this red haired beauty...

"...Don't worry, since they want to be afraid, we'll give em something to be afraid of."
