Cary and Kai had been fighting vigorously for the last half an hour or so, surely it couldn't have been much longer than that. Lukas had been fighting too, but with how much more destructive Cary and Kai were directly, they put in far more effort, though it didn't pay off.
Although, when things were starting to look dire, when the future began to look bleak, Lukas introduced a change in the fight. In only a few moments, the ghast became distracted by the other two Hunters and lost one of its arms in the process.
It was now half-blind, and Kai and Cary began to notice soon after that their senses partially came back to them. Of course, this too came with the realisation of how exhausted and in pain the two of them were.
However, that wasn't of concern right now, as the ghast soon charged toward Lukas. Cary and Kai rushed forward in an attempt to aid him. Kai was faster, his speed that of lightning. But even he was just a half-second too slow.
