"I remember you mentioning it to me," Bene said to Karve, "but I don't remember what you said."
Karve gently leaned against the bookshelf slightly.
"Do you remember what I've told you about my family?"
Bene nodded.
"Of course."
"So you remember what I told you about them being very spiritual?"
"Yes."
"Well," Karve said as he bounced off of the bookshelf and onto his own balance again, "I believe most of what they believed in. I don't think they went about it in the right way, or for the right reasons of course, but I believe they were on to something."
Karve started walking down the aisle, prompting for Bene to follow him as they continued through the rows of standing shelves.
"They believed souls to be a real, yet abstract, thing. They didn't believe it to be tangible, physical, or at all connected to our plane. Some of it is a bit... out there. But, the underlying understanding they came to caught my attention."
