A young man, along with four others like him, formed one of the many scouting groups here at Mystic Camp and its surrounding region. All of them, except for the young man himself, were part of Skyla's former subdivision, now a part of Karve's subdivision, except for one who was transferred to Vesa's subdivision. The young man, meanwhile, was part of Bene's subdivision and only came to know the group near Petalrun about a month ago.
As of earlier that day, they were scheduled to set out around five in the morning. Of course, a few people slept in and the group left around 30 minutes after they meant to. But, that didn't matter now, what did matter was their ability to search and fight ghouls.
It was still slightly weird to call them "ghouls" after spending so much time thinking of them as "ghasts", but the man didn't dwell on it.
