Bene froze Redien from the neck down in an instant. Visible steam and smoke left his mouth as his eyes turned lifeless for a moment. Cracks in the ice formed where his hand was as he clutched it with all of his strength.
"Hey, come on brother, you don't have to be like this."
Karve took a few hits and scratches from Haunt. But after he regained his composure, he quickly kicked him on the ground and broke his dominant arm. He then dragged him out of the room.
Bene took a long time to breathe, it nearly looked like he was about to pass out.
"...Don't call me that..."
"Why do you have to be so cold?"
Karve walked back in, now no longer dragging the man known as Haunt.
"Karve, take Lukas out of here and get him some medical assistance. I'll deal with the rest myself."
