With his blood-stained hands, Lukas gripped the handle of his blade with white knuckles. He aimed his cut towards the older man's right side. It was an obvious strike that could easily be blocked, parried, or deflected. At least that's what the experienced fighter thought as the blade approached him.
His mind got the better of him, however, as he assumed it to be a feint. Now he thought over how to block the strike. Block the strike against his right side, or try to predict the shift to his left side? Maybe it wasn't a feint at all, or was the cover for a more illustrious plan? He didn't think so.
He moved the dagger in his right hand, prepared to block Lukas' strike. But Lukas was prepared for this, he swiftly moved his blade to the man's left side in response. But the man wasn't surprised.
