In an instant, the ghast uppermost left shoulder was blown off by Kai. It was the only attack he could manage with the element of surprise. Agony briefly flashed across the ghast's inhuman eyes, but it did not deter it from causing more misery.
"Kai? Why- WHY ARE YOU HERE!?"
Skyla's screams fell upon deaf ears. Kai didn't care what she said, nothing would change his mind. To Lukas, it seemed like Kai wanted to prove himself. But the truth was far simpler than that.
He wanted to save his sister.
He leapt back and began to channel the lightning into his arms.
"Kil"
His arms had become one with the lightning, and soon something appeared in his bright blue hands. Carved from the crackling energy of his soul, a bolt of lightning like that of a myth appeared in his hands.
