Lukas returned to his room, took out his weapons, and began to polish them.
He spent half an hour meticulously cleaning and sharpening his weapons until the lightest touch could pierce his skin. He gave each weapon a few light test swings to test how they moved. Once everything felt right, he put them back on the ground where they were.
Lukas, unsure of what to do, went to the canteen.
He spent a few hours there, eating at first before just sitting around talking with whoever was present. This included Oak, Cary, Bene, Karve, and even Skyla at one point.
Eventually, Maya, Skyla, and Vesa were talking in the canteen before leaving with Maya. That's when Lukas was reminded of Maya's thread.
