"Yes! I won!" Kai said excitedly.
Lukas sighed.
"Yeah... three in a row. If you let me use my Frequency I would win every time."
"Exactly, that's not fair!"
Lukas and Kai were playing a fair number of games to pass the time. They were sitting at an empty table in the administrative centre and playing the game with small pieces of cut wood and a board drawn on paper.
It wasn't exactly the same as the proper board and pieces that were in Bellrock Outpost, but it worked. The two of them were able to enjoy a few games, and right now that was all that mattered.
"How are you so good at this anyway? I feel like I understand the game well enough, but I just can't seem to beat you that often."
"Well, I've played it a lot. Growing up, I was raised by some of the Fortissimo people, and a lot of them would play games with me. So, I spent a lot of time learning this game."
