It had been a few minutes since Lukas and Cary departed. The call for aid had been sent then too, but so far no one had arrived. Axel, while watching the two Hunters approach the ghast, had made extensively sure the group hadn't gotten off track. So, certainly, they couldn't have been so isolated that no help would arrive. Or was everyone else who heard the call afraid?
Eventually, though, that fear was squashed.
Lukas and Cary had long since caught sight of the ghast, they even began to fight it. From what Axel saw, the beast was terribly quick and ruthlessly strong too. Lukas no doubt had to use his Frequency once or twice by the looks of things. Help was desperately needed, for this foe was terribly strong.
Then, Axel heard a thunderous boom, the splitting of wood, and wind rushing past him. He opened his eyes to find a young man standing before him.
It was Kai, the Hunter known as Tempest.
