Lukas had left the room silently before remembering his uniform should be there and that he was still wearing the temporary clothes he was given. He silently returned to the room in search of his new uniform.
He half-expected it to be on the ground in front of the door, on either side of it but presumably inside the room. Yet, it wasn't. It was hard to see in the room; the sun wasn't up and the lantern was extinguished. But, with the little light coming from the faint moonlight and soft candlelight from outside, he eventually found his uniform.
It was folded and set down in an empty space on the small desk in the room. Lukas couldn't tell if it was a spare or cleaned version of his original uniform. Not only could he not see any details in the dark room, he couldn't feel anything off about either.
