The world, filled with dull sound, began to solidify and sharpen. Everything became clearer as Lukas began to wake. The sound, dull and unfocused, became a clear screech, the sound of a whistle. The light, so blurred and smeared, collapsed into a single cascade of light through the window. Lastly, the time, hazy and unclear, began to reveal itself to Lukas.
It was roughly six in the morning.
Lukas forced himself not to sleep any longer. He got up and looked outside to confirm his suspicions of the time. Sure enough, by the sun's position, it was six in the morning.
Lukas sighed.
'We have to start today, huh? Where's Axel?'
Lukas looked around him until his eyes locked on Oak. He calmly walked over to his sleeping friend and gently shook him awake. It took a few minutes before Oak was slowly awakened.
"Huh?" He said through a daze. "What's happening?"
"We start today, remember?"
"Start what?"
