"Do you still hear that ringing sound?"
Lukas turned to Oak.
"Huh? No? Do you?"
Oak stared at the ground and shrugged.
"Kind of, it's harder to hear now, but it still hasn't gone away."
"You should probably tell Vesa about that. I heard a ringing sound too when those whistles blew, but it's gone now."
"But isn't Vesa going to say that it's fine or whatever? She said her hearing was partly gone, so won't she tell me that it's not a problem?"
"Maybe, but she will at least care a little, she's not heartless."
"Really? She acts like it sometimes."
Lukas chuckled to himself.
"What? I know she acts a little... crazy when fighting ghouls, I've seen it briefly before. But, she isn't heartless, what has she said to you before?"
"She's said a couple of things to me that hurt to hear."
"Anyway, if it's anything serious she'll likely help you with whatever the problem is."
Oak sighed.
