The rest of the training went by smoothly, at least for Lukas. For Oak... well Lukas didn't pay much attention to Oak. He spent the entire time focusing on himself, except for when Vesa told him to do something or when she or Oak asked him a question.
But Oak was exhausted by the end of it. He dragged himself back to their room and had trouble keeping his eyes open. He was bruised or visibly beaten in any way, but it wasn't hard to assume how tiring it must've been for him. Lukas had no doubt Oak was likely to be sore tomorrow, if not for the next couple of days.
He collapsed on the bottom bed but didn't quite fall asleep right away. He wasn't nearly as mentally drained as he was physically. So despite barely being able to keep his eyes open earlier, now he lay with his eyes half open, slowly blinking as he stared up at the underside of the top bed.
