As Lukas sat by the water, he grew curious as to what Axel was doing. He told him he didn't wish to be disturbed, but that didn't mean Lukas couldn't observe, so long as didn't disturb in any way.
He walked over to the fire and sat down. He didn't sit next to Axel, but he did sit in a spot where he could watch him but wasn't directly interfering with him. The fire, of course, was a little too warm for the plentiful ambient heat of summer. But at least it was well-contained and nice to watch.
Axel, however, was doing nothing of interest as far as Lukas could tell. He sat cross-legged on the ground with his eyes closed. The distance from the fire was slightly concerning, and evidently affected him from the sweat forming on his brow.
Despite this, he noticed Lukas.
"What are you doing?" He asked with eyes still closed. "I thought I told you not to bother me."
"I'm not, I just wanted to sit by the fire."
"In summer?"
