Lukas stepped into the barrack's room where he had placed his bag. Axel was awake and reading through some kind of journal of his own. He only glanced up at Lukas before resuming his reading.
"Hello." He briefly said.
Lukas sat down on his bed and began to unpack some of his belongings.
"Hey, Axel, are you content with being a Special Asset?"
"Did you not remember what I told you? You ask too many questions. Why can't you shut up and be silent or start a conversation differently."
There was a silence that passed between them like a gust of wind.
"...I am content with being a Special Asset. It gives me a kind of freedom. I don't see why you would want to know that."
"Well, I was going to ask you if you wanted to become a part of my subdivision. But if you're fine the way you are, then I won't try to convince you. I will still offer it to you, should you want to accept."
