By the next day, the nurse deemed Lukas fine to leave if he wanted. He would still have another four to five weeks to fully recover, but he could at least go about his daily life if he wanted. Seeing as he had plenty of things he could be doing and no reason to stay cooped up here all day, he left.
The first couple of steps were met with a slight wobble, but he soon regained his composure and gathered his things. He changed back into his newly mended uniform. "Weaver of Time" was still written boldly on the back. To have a title was a sign of respect, but to Lukas it only made him remember what he lost. But even in those memories, he saw the outstretched hand of Bene who pulled him from those dark times.
