When Itadori said he was going to buy some things, Nobara didn't do much to stop him. Since she was only carrying one bag, she didn't worry about keeping him around to carry them.

So, she decided to just get a juice while she checked out other stores around the city.

As she walked, she couldn't help but think about the boy.

To be honest, she didn't know what to think about Itadori.

In her eyes, he was a mature guy, mature enough that she found it strange. Sometimes, when they were talking, he seemed to speak like an experienced adult man.

But at the same time that he could display such maturity, he could also be an idiot.

In fact, he seemed to know the right time for jokes, which made his foolishness quite funny, especially when they were with Megumi.

With all this, she still couldn't form a deep opinion about him. She could say he was a good person, and he seemed to care about everyone around him, but he also gave her a distant feeling.

Nobara couldn't explain it, and it frustrated her a bit.

'Ugh... I never thought a boy would leave me so confused, isn't it usually girls who do that?'

Taking a sip of her juice, she stopped in front of a store window, her eyes landing on a black coat.

"..."

She observed the piece of clothing for a moment, seeming to ponder something, before just shrugging.

'No, too expensive. Besides, I don't even know if he would like a coat.'

Just about to continue her walk, Nobara was surprised when she felt a hand on her shoulder.

"Excuse me..."

Turning around, the girl's face filled with confusion as she saw a woman bent over in front of her, as if she wanted to ask something.

"The one who was with you, is it by any chance Itadori?"

"Uhm?"

.

Sitting at a table in a café, Nobara observed the girl in front of her in silence, her chin resting on her hands, as she seemed to analyze all the information thrown at her.

"All this... Does it mean that it's that?" Nobara asked intensely, to which the girl nodded.

"Yes, it's that."

Grabbing her phone, she quickly sent a message to Megumi.

"I just called a guy who knows Itadori better than I do."

Yuko Ozawa, that was the name of the girl in front of her. She was an old classmate of Itadori's and seemed to have a crush on the boy. Walking through the streets of Tokyo, she ended up seeing Nobara and Itadori coincidentally.

She had gone through an incredible transformation, changing from a short, chubby girl to a tall, attractive woman.

It was quite surprising to Nobara.

"Wait- If you happen to like him-"

"No, not even if the whole world danced salsa."

Thump.

Nobara felt strange when those words left her mouth, blinking in confusion.

'Uh? Is it arrhythmia?' She clutched her chest with a confused look, before shrugging.

"..."

Coming out of a store, Itadori suddenly sneezed, his eyes narrowing as he looked around.

'I feel like I've been insulted somehow...' He narrowed his eyes, a sigh escaping his lips as he began to walk.

.

After a few minutes of waiting, Megumi finally arrived, stopping in front of the table and looking at Nobara with an irritated expression.

"Hey, why the hell did you call me here?-"

"Hey, Fushiguro! Does Itadori by any chance have a girlfriend?"

"Uh?"

"Look, this girl here...[...]"

!

"So, it means that it's that?" Megumi questioned with a surprised look, to which Nobara responded firmly.

"Yes, it's that."

It didn't take long for the boy to sit next to her, immediately ordering a coffee from the nearby waiter.

"Honestly, I wouldn't know if he has a girlfriend, but I've seen him busy with training most of the day, so I doubt he's in a relationship." Megumi rubbed his chin as he pondered. He didn't believe Itadori had a girlfriend, since he had been too busy since he arrived at the school. He thought there was no way he could give time to a girlfriend being so busy. "Besides, he doesn't seem to be someone who's that interested in it."

Nobara nodded. "You two are a bit alike, at least in that. Neither of you seems willing to talk to a girl."

"Hey!" A vein popped on the boy's forehead.

Ozawa listened to that with a bit of discouragement, but still, she felt she couldn't give up. Even if Itadori wasn't interested in a relationship, it didn't mean she didn't have a chance.

"And do you know what kind of girl he likes?"

Megumi didn't respond for a moment, his mind wandering to the moment when he was hospitalized, when Todo and Itadori kept him company.

"I heard he likes athletic women with big thighs."

Ozawa felt something break in her heart, a small nervous smile appearing on her lips. "I-I see."

Nobara observed the girl with pity, but before she could say something to cheer her up, something came to mind. 'Wait... Athletic body, big thighs...'

'That's basically Maki! Damn! Sorry, Ozawa! I don't think you can compete with her.'

"You might still have a chance, you never know." Nobara tried to cheer her up, but it didn't do much for the girl, who just looked at her own hands dejectedly.

"..."

With the atmosphere at the table becoming a bit depressing, the group barely noticed when one of the staff welcomed someone, Megumi being the only one to notice something when he heard someone approaching them.

"Damn, I've been looking for you for a long time."

Nobara blinked when something was thrown in her direction, a bag landing in her lap.

"Did you turn off your phone? I was about to leave."

Nobara turned, her vision landing on the face of a frustrated Itadori.

"Oh, Megumi's here too? Hey, man." He greeted the boy with a high-five, a small smile on his lips.

Nobara, seeing the interaction, froze for a moment when she remembered Ozawa's presence, turning to see the girl watching Itadori with a small blush on her face.

Ozawa had changed a lot, so it wouldn't be strange if he couldn't recognize her, but hearing something like "who are you?" from a school crush wasn't something anyone would want to hear.

Itadori turned to Ozawa, observing her for a moment, as if trying to recognize her.

"Itadori! This is-"

But as Nobara was about to intervene, the boy's eyes lit up with recognition.

"Ozawa, is that you? How have you been?"

.

With the group of three walking through the city, Nobara couldn't help but glance at Itadori, noting his impassive face.

"How was it? Did you walk her to the station?" She asked.

"We talked a bit, discussed what she's been doing since coming to Tokyo." Itadori opened a small smile. "We exchanged numbers too, she didn't want to lose contact like last time..."

Nobara nodded, understanding that although it wasn't as Ozawa planned, she seemed not to have given up.

"To be honest, I noticed that she likes me."

Itadori simply declared, which made Megumi and Nobara stare at him in astonishment.

"But I'm not interested at the moment, and of course, I didn't tell her that."

The two colleagues nodded. In the end, they were sorcerers, so it was normal for Itadori not to feel comfortable getting involved with someone.

They had bigger problems to focus on.

"..."

"Let's watch something."

Without opposition, the group slowly disappeared into the crowd of people.
