Carrying the flag of victory for Ming Qi, General Shin's army moved at silent pace. Their horse neighed but that was the only sound that could be heard from the long parade of soldiers.
If one looked closely they would find each and every eye of the soldier carried with it the veil of tears which they could not let it fall as it signified their cowardice in front of their leader.
After taking treatment for his life threatening injuries in last two days. They received decree from their ruler to let General Dak Shin return to his majesty and receive reward for its victory within seven days.
But each and every soldier knew within their heart that this was just a mockery in the name of the victory.
But not a single word of anger came out of their General's mouth which stopped any protest from their heart. He just wrapped his right hand in a simple gauge still covered in blood cooagulant and jumped on his horse "Shaitaan".
This black beast as if knew of his master's ailment without directing he moved in fast but careful pace. So, as not to hurt already injured General.
Their journey back was completed in exact seven days and their whole army only rested for two nights out of seven.
Even all the soldiers gritted their teeth at the noble person sitting on the throne, for this inhuman behaviour towards the only heir of the previous emperor.
Originally General Dak Shin was supposed to be the ruler but no one knew why. At the time of his death great emperor named his sister's son Prince Yi Min as the king and not his own son.
But General Shin never gave a response he just calmly jumped on Shaitan and rode to North to protect the borders of Ming Qi. Never once complaining about it.
As soon as reaching the capital many common people collected on the street to welcome the general but from no where a scream echoed " Devil" suddenly people became whispering pointing to his right hand still wrapped in now bloodied cloth as they moved away in fear.
General Shin looked at everything with calm gaze. His heart carried no concern for their reaction but his eyes was stuck at the single unaffected person in the crowd.
She had long open hair which indicated she was unmarried but her clothes showed she was considered a mature woman probably more than 25 which was far away from the marietal age.
But her eyes they were shining brightly. They carried confidence as she bowed in front of the army in sincere respect as if she was witness to their efforts on the battlefield.
She didn't know but each person who noticed her within the army had an eye for respect and gratitude towards her which she showed just by welcoming them with her true heart.
As they reached the gate of palace another order awaited them.
