'Luna... I know you're there... care to explain?'
Alex could feel a welling of emotion emanating from what he presumed was Luna, especially when he witnessed the memories of the babies.
'Luna, what's going on? Please, talk to me... You know I can feel your emotions. They crash over me in waves. When Kanos called me brother, those images or memories flooded my mind. I felt your raw, real sadness. What's happening? How are we brothers? And who was the other baby? Why couldn't I see who it was? Why are these memories blocked?'
Luna remained silent, but Alex could still sense her sorrow. It mirrored his own, erasing the earlier anger and replacing it with a heavy burden of sadness.
'I guess you don't feel like talking, and that's okay... But promise me you'll explain things soon.'
'I promise. Thanks, Lexie,' Luna's voice echoed softly in his mind.
Alex smiled and began planning his next steps.
