"What the hell is this?!" Alex's voice echoed through the room, his eyes widening in disbelief as he stared at the glowing message hovering before him.
"Alex...? What's wrong?" Selina's brow furrowed with concern as she glanced up from her work.
"I... Ugh, never mind." Alex struggled to compose himself, a wave of uncertainty washing over him.
"Did anything happen while I was out?" He attempted to regain control of the situation, his voice strained.
"Nope, all good here," Selina replied casually, though her eyes betrayed a hint of curiosity.
"How long was I out?"
"A little over 3 hours," Selina informed him, her tone matter-of-fact.
"That's it?? It seemed like days to me," Alex muttered to himself, running a hand through his dishevelled hair.
