Alex ventured into the forest, the lush green canopy above providing a soothing backdrop to his footsteps. The path ahead, however, was about to get interesting. As he moved deeper into the woods, he stumbled upon a group of low-level monsters. With swift, fluid motions, he dispatched them with ease, the encounter hardly challenging for him.
A small glow emanated from one of their corpses when he killed the monsters. He saw the glow emerge for the first time and quickly fly towards him.
Initially defensive, unsure of what was happening, Alex watched as the green orbs flew right into his ring, which absorbed them.
'What just happened? Did the Ring absorb the monster's soul or something?' he wondered.
