Selina stood there stunned and had yet to shake the boy's extended hand.
While Arthur did not give her much detail about the boy he was following, he did mention that he had just become a rank 1 hunter.
The person standing in front of Selina didn't exude the typical aura of a rank-1 hunter. She would have initially pegged him as at least rank 3, possibly even rank 4, based on his demeanor and presence.
"You said your name was Alex?" Selina asked, her voice cautious.
"Yeah, and you are?" Alex responded, his tone now much gentler than before.
'Must be a different person,' Selina thought to herself, her mind racing to reconcile the discrepancies. 'First of all, this guy doesn't look that young. I'd guess he's around 15 or 16, making him a young adult. And there's no way he's a rank 1, so it must all be a bizarre coincidence that his name is Alex.'
