'ALEX, RUN NOW. RUN AWAY!'
As soon as Alex heard those urgent words, a jolt of fear shot through him. He glanced toward the figure, and his heart sank as he saw it steadily advancing towards his hiding spot.
In that critical moment, his mind went into overdrive. Time seemed to slow; his senses heightened to their utmost limit. Every potential escape route flashed through his mind, each scenario playing out in rapid succession. And then, driven by instinct and desperation, he made his choice:
'Darkness.'
Instantly, a vast sphere of shadow erupted from his position, shrouding everything around him in pitch blackness. The figure, caught off guard by this sudden blanket of darkness, halted. Despite its immense strength, it appeared momentarily disoriented, intrigued by the unfamiliar power enveloping it.
